You are the most fascinating person in the room – if you allow it

I have a belief, informed from my first-hand experiences, that to know where we’re going we must first look at where we’ve been. For most of us, we skip the most interesting parts.

What if becoming a student of your own self-mastery, studying the life you’ve already lived, was the piece you were missing from making your next chapter your greatest chapter?

What if by being willing to share these very specific stories of your life, it created connection with others you couldn’t have imagined?

Check out what happens when people filter a story of their life through a container created by Shermain Melton and I. I guarantee no one thought they’d be sharing stories of:

  • How a gift shirt they received at age 11 changed their life.
  • How someone ended up working in China for 2 years, and found themselves being driven by someone who didn’t speak English, to an unknown location, with no ability to phone anyone for help and left praying to God while staring out the window.
  • An audacious life trip to work on a winery in France at age 22, picking grapes.

And most importantly… what are the lessons for you TODAY that that younger self has to teach you from that story?

Watch the fascinating recording here:

Also, Shermain and I are hosting the next Accomplished Misfit gathering this Monday August 11th, at 12 Noon Eastern / 9 AM Pacific. The theme of this call is FACING YOUR FEARS, because everything great that has happened in my life was because I was willing to walk through a door of fear and see what was on the other side. We’ll be exploring this.
