I launched this blog just over 1 year ago.
I started it because I wanted an outlet to share my thoughts and experiences with those who cared to read it.
There was no secondary purpose to this blog. I wasn’t trying to build a business or build Followers. With no agenda, I was able to do what I wanted to do, which is try to help others and no ulterior motives of trying to sell a product or something.
I realize I’m breaking every rule there is, not using social media, not promoting myself, just creating content for those that find it.
Part of my motivation of creating content and leaving it to be found is to embrace peace in my life, and not get caught up in building metrics. I’m also curious to see how it grows in an organic way. Now, I know this may not be the way to build a successful business, at least not quickly, but that isn’t my goal here.
I am devising my own way of measuring success with this blog, but not by comparing myself with others. I won’t be playing the numbers game, comparing email list size, views, likes, followers, etc.
I’ll continue to explore paths to new undiscovered Blue Oceans. I find this much more interesting and fulfilling. It can be a challenge of course, but I enjoy the process.
I’m pretty proud and happy with the collected work that is here, just waiting for someone to discover it and hopefully benefits them. I hope that person is you.
