Asking “What’s Next?” more relevant than ever

A

I’ve been dealing with the “What’s Next?” question for myself for some time. I’ve spent a lot of time writing about it for my blog. I’ve learned many people carry that question with them and it has resonated.

Now “What’s Next?” is a bigger question than it’s ever been.

With my background, I feel uniquely qualified to help people work this out. I’ve reinvented myself many times, and I’ve also gone through financially devastating times. I’ve been bankrupt. I’ve had nothing. I’ve slept on the floor. I’ve had eviction notices posted to my door. I’ve scraped together change to buy cans of soup. I’ve not had enough money to take the bus. I’ve made money then lost money. I’ve had trouble feeding my family. I’ve felt the shame and carried it around. I’ve felt the stress to my marriage caused by lack of money. There were horrible times, but I managed to get through it.

As entrepreneurs we have unique tools and skills to deal with uncertain times. We are creators. We solve problems.

The problems today are literally new problems. We can’t solve yesterday’s problems. We must come up with new solutions for today’s new problems.

We must hustle, and find new ways to do what we do.

What are the skills, tools and resources you have available today? How can you deploy them in new ways?

I spent many years on stages, as a DJ, and later as a stage hypnotist. I then spent about 8 years off stage completely. I’m finding my stage again this time not as a webinar technology creator, but that as presenter. It gives my energy, and allows me to share my experiences and gifts with people.

The way I see it, we have to work out “What’s Next?” for the short term and mid-term. The short-term is right now, today, tomorrow, this week and next. Many businesses are affected. How will you use your skills, tools and resources you have to work the short-term?

It’s time to get creative.

How could you use a company vehicle as a revenue generator?

How could you adapt your services to people at home?

What’s Next?

I know opportunities also come from that question.

I’ll be here working that out. You are welcome to join me.
