Creating my future from a place of strength

C

I could tell I’ve been feeling in the doldrums lately and decided to take action. I put out a last-second invitation to my Frolic100 list to witness me using my most powerful tool, what I call my Statement of Being. Things began to change for me the moment I committed myself to this. I now had a date on the calendar (only a few days away). I knew it was more important to me to do it, and be with whoever can be there, than for me to do it in a more safe manner and try to fill the room and promote it like I normally would (with 4 weeks or so lead time).

I was prepared for no one to show up, and it would still have been valuable to me. My success wasn’t reliant on anyone else.

Once I committed myself, my mind began to spin with new ideas. I realized in addition to me recharging myself through my Statement of Being, I was inspired to share for the first time my answer to “What do I want?”

On the same call I spoke aloud for the first time “The Life that I Am Creating”.

It was unfinished (these types of things are never truly “done”) but my experience has taught me it’s more important to put it out there than get it right, and I knew my life would change if I did.

And that’s exactly what I did do. By the time I was done, I could not hold back my tears. It was a relief to say it and be witnessed doing so.

Thank you to Leslie, Tim, and Jon, for being my witnesses on that day.

The session was recorded and you are invited to take that ride with me.

As I like to say, I like to show things that once seen cannot be unseen.

What are your biggest take-aways from watching this process play out?
